Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2, 2026
This policy explains what information this site collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It covers oceancustompools.com and what happens to a request you send from it — including the automated steps described below.
Information we collect
When you use the pool configurator on this site to request a free consultation, we collect the name and email you enter in the first step. If you continue to the second step, we also collect your phone number and ZIP code, plus an address and a timeline for starting your project if you choose to share them.
We also collect some information automatically: your IP address, general browser and device information, and cookies placed by the Meta Pixel described below.
How we use your information
We use it to contact you about the consultation you requested, to give you an accurate price range for the pool you configured, and to understand which pages and ads bring visitors to this site.
Part of that happens automatically. When you submit the form, an automated system reads what you entered and rates how far along your project seems, so our team knows who to call back first. That rating never sets your price and never turns anyone away — a person on our team reviews every request before deciding anything. Submitting the form may also trigger automated emails from us: one confirming we received your request, and in some cases a short follow-up afterward. You can reply to any of them to reach a real person, or ask us to stop sending them.
Cookies, the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics
This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. (the company behind Facebook and Instagram) that helps us measure how people who see our ads use this site, and helps those ads reach people likely to be interested in a custom pool. The Pixel sets cookies in your browser and can record that you visited a page here or submitted our consultation form.
We also use Google Analytics, a measurement tool from Google. It counts page views and tells us which pages people read and how they found us — it does not tell us who you are. Like the Pixel, it sets cookies in your browser.
Neither one runs while our team is building or testing the site: they are active only on the live site that visitors see.
You can block or delete these cookies at any time in your browser's settings. You can turn off Meta's ad personalization at facebook.com/help/568137493302217, and opt out of Google Analytics on any site by installing Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Who we share it with
Your request is stored in our database (Supabase) and routed to our team through an automation workflow (n8n), which can forward it to our internal customer-management system so the right person follows up. The Meta Pixel shares the browsing information described above with Meta.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond what's described here.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@oceancustompools.com. If you're a California resident, you can use that same address for a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” request — though, again, we don't sell it to begin with.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us, and only our own team can access it. We keep it for as long as we need it to follow up on your request and to maintain our own business records.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and post the new version here.
