Sugar Land

Sugar Land: a bridge over the water, and an edge that ends at the lagoon

Two Sugar Land backyards, built for two very different evenings. In the first, a steel bridge crosses a geometric pool of deep-blue water to a shelf where the loungers sit right in the pool, fire bowls stand at the corners, deck jets arc in over the shallows, and a wall of glass two stories high frames all of it. We filmed that yard at dusk with the bowls lit and the water glowing under the loungers — one frame of that footage is in the mosaic. In the second, a sunken lounge in travertine sits at the water's edge with a fire pit at its center, a round mosaic spa behind it, and the infinity edge runs out toward a lagoon at the back of the property. Every photo is ours, taken in the finished yard.

Frequently asked questions

Have you built pools in Sugar Land?

Yes — both yards in the mosaic are Sugar Land builds: the geometric pool with the bridge, in-pool loungers and fire bowls, and the infinity pool whose sunken fire-pit lounge and round mosaic spa sit at the edge of the lagoon.

What does the build process look like?

Excavation first, then steel and rebar, plumbing, gunite, tile and coping, decking, plaster, and finally fill and startup — always in that order, on every job we build. The full sequence is filmed and posted on this site, the same camera that caught the finished yards above.

How much does a custom pool cost?

We don't publish a one-size figure because there isn't one — the honest number depends on your yard and on what you put in it. The configurator on this site builds a range for your own pool in a few minutes, no phone call required.
